FAQ – What You Need to Know


– Proof of vaccinations and flea control.

If your kitty is a senior (12+ years) please discuss vaccinations with Kathy

– Contact information

Where you can be reached while your kitty is with us.

If you cannot be contacted because of your location, we will need the contact information of a local responsible person.

– Payment

We take cash, cheque, or email transfer.  A 50% deposit is required at drop off and the balance at pick up, or you may choose to make full payment at drop off.

– Food

Your cat’s food is all you have to supply.  Everything else is provided by Kathy’s Cat Care.

We will endeavour to keep your kitty on her regular feeding schedule.

– Medications

If your kitty has not stayed with us before and requires medication that has to be administered by hand, you will need to book an overnight “trial” stay with us to be sure your kitty will accept the med’s. Please discuss your cat’s medical status with Kathy.

– Consent for Treatment Form

Should your kitty display signs of physical distress while staying at Kathy’s Cat Care, we would contact you and follow your instructions. If you agree she needs veterinary care, the Consent for Treatment Form gives us your permission to seek such treatment.  By signing the form, you also agree to make full payment to the veterinary clinic by providing your credit card number to either them directly or to us when we contact you.
